Dr. Biswarup Purkayastha is a highly skilled cardiothoracic and vascular surgeon with extensive expertise in heart and lung transplantation. He brings a strong clinical background with previous associations at KIMS Hospital, Hyderabad; Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital-Mumbai , Medanta - Lucknow , B M Birla -Kolkata and Narayana Hrudayalaya - where he received his initial training . He has received additional international training at the Vienna General Hospital under the Toronto–Vienna Lung Transplant Academy Program, further strengthening his expertise in advanced transplant techniques. He recieved the 2 year full term Greenlane Fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery and Heart Lung Transplants in Auckland , NZ .
